Ali's Life in S.Korea

SO I’ve been really interested in this rookie group! I love them! They are really good performers, I think. And their debut song (plus I Remember and Never Give Up) was really awesome! Did you guys love it?

Jong Up is adorable! I barely saw him on the MV, but he is really cool live. He has that “I’m cool” look to him, and (no one kill me) he reminds me of MBLAQ’s Lee Joon. Someone told me that he was in Secret’s Shy Boy and Starlight Moonlight, so I went and watched those MVs and he’s cute in them! He’s the “alien” of the group, for all you WARRIORS out there. Crazy bunny with green, spiky mouth. 

Young Jae hasn’t really caught my eye yet because they’ve only just debuted and I’ve only seen one side of them…but maybe someday soon! He’s the “brain” of the group. Bunny with big ears and yellow mouth.

Daehyun is awesome (not only because he’s from Busan!) but because he just carries himself like an awesome person, right? Someone told me he doesn’t like the other members…is this true? Also he’s the “observer” of the group. Black bunny with zipper mouth.

Himchan…hasn’t really caught my attention either. Nice voice, cute, but hasn’t caught my attention. Maybe someday. He’s the “alien commander” (what the heck are these nicknames, right?) Black bunny with plus sign on forehead and pink mouth.

ZELO is so freaking adorable. He’s so tall and handsome! I couldn’t believe he was the maknae when someone told me. He reminds me of someone, but I’m not sure who…He is AMAZING live, and he’s a great rapper/dancer. Hope he keeps getting better. He’s my favorite by the way. He is either the “15 year old genius” or the “robot” I’m not so sure. Black bunny with twisty thing on his head and light blue mouth.

BANG YONG GUK Okay, I lied. HE’s my favorite. His voice is just SO deep! I love it! It’s voices like his, TOP’s, Taec’s…just amazing. He’s freaking awesome. And he’s so “I’m a BAMF” right? He’s an “alien” too….I’m getting these names from their profiles by the way, these nicknames. Black camouflauge bunny.

Overall, I love them. On variety shows they make me laugh, and during live shows they make me smile. Hope they continue to do good. How do you guys feel about them?

Ate some yummy waffles at a shop called Dr Coffee! I really like that place! If you’re ever in Suyeonggu, then you have to try that place. 

Sorry! Sorry for the disappearance! Recap? I went out to Busan to visit a nice town called Suyeonggu. The beach is absolutely beautiful, and though it was kinda chilly, I still had fun! I’ll be putting up more pictures of my time there!

KDrama Update #5 

Lie To Me

First, let me just say that this is one of my favorite Dramas. Something about it is just beautiful to me. I didn’t get any headaches, I didn’t want to scream at the people on my TV, and I didn’t give up in the middle of an episode, reluctant to finish watching it (I can never not finish a drama I start).

Ah Jung played by the amazing Yoon Eun Hye. Seriously, if you know a Korean person who hasn’t heard Yoon Eun Hye’s name even once, there’s something wrong. You know what, I won’t even express my extreme fangirlness today (I don’t have time, ahaha). ANYWAY, I like Ah Jung from the beginning. She’s just so…clumsy (?) and easygoing, it’s hard not to like her.

Ki Joon was…I have no words to express it. In the beginning, I hated him. In the end, I loved him. In the beginning, he was arrogant, rude, selfish, and snobby. In the end, he was fun-loving, handsome (he was at the beginning too but I was blinded by my hatred), and calm…er than he was before. 

Sanghee was my favorite. Not to mention the fact that I recognized him right away from Personal Preference (one of the “metrosexual” guys modeling)! But he’s so handsome, so laid back, so smooth. Of course, I’d love him. I love him the whole way through, and I just wish he had somebody during the show, but the actor played the part well!

Yoon Joo and Soran… why does every drama have to have bitches. I didn’t even really like either of them at the end. They were just aggravating. Yoonjoo was really pretty, but just… I don’t even know.

Park Hoon! Okay, I lied. HE’s my favorite. Tell me he wasn’t adorable? You know he was. He wasn’t there a lot, to my disappointment, but he was on every episode! 

Overall, this is one of my favorite dramas. They glided into the ending so smoothly and without any confusion for me! I loved it! I’d watch it over again (I actually already have).

Kpop Update #8

SNSD

Tiffany is one of my favorites of SNSD because she’s this out there kinda girl, and that’s pretty cool. She seems sweet on variety shows, and I think she’s a really good singer (they all are though).

Sunny is probably my favorite, or one of them, because of her personality. Whenever she’s on variety shows, she finds some way to make me laugh or smile. She just seems like a genuine person. Plus I thought she did great on SNSD’s Hello Baby as “Best Mom.”

Taeyeon is the leader so of course I love her. She has an exceptional voice and I feel like she brings harmony to the group. I always expect to hear a beautiful performance from her, and she NEVER lets me down. 

Yuri is very cool. I know Hyoyeon is the lead dancer, but I prefer Yuri’s dances. I think she’s a bit…exaggerated on shows, but that doesn’t affect her dancing, so it’s alright with me!

Yoona I know a lot of people don’t like Yoona. People say that she’s a camera whore or that she’s not even really pretty or other things like that, but I disagree. I do believe she is one of the most beautiful girls of Kpop, and I do believe that she’s a genuine person. 

Seohyun is the maknae, right? While I usually have an intense love for the maknaes of a group, she hasn’t really grown on me AS A MAKNAE. I love her, but not in the way I usually love maknaes. She has an amazing voice though.

Jessica is another one of my favorites. I secretly love her even though I claim I don’t. She just has that certain charisma (both on stage and on shows) that makes me love her. She definitely has a beautiful voice, too.

Hyoyeon is cool. She makes me laugh. I don’t think she’s a good a dancer as Yuri, but that’s my own opinion. I still love her, and I still think she fits the SNSD image perfectly. 

Sooyoung has the BEST legs! You all have got to agree. If Yubin (Wonder Girls) wasn’t around, Sooyoung would definitely have my vote for the best legs in Kpop. 

Overall, SNSD is definitely one of my favorite groups. I’m not even gonna go into fan wars and all that because it’s not worth it, so just know that I love them, and I think they are amazing.
